The staff was excellent, service at the bar and restaurant outstanding. The restaurant food was great. A nice break from hotel chains to find this quirky and unique hotel with the personal touch.
Was disappointed that I wasn't informed that the steam room and sauna were out of order as that was one of my primary reasons for booking here.
Although there was a little noise I soon got used to it, the bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out of it, the bathroom was spotless and I loved the bath. Not much of a view but then the hotel didn't advertise good views however for the money we paid it was excellent.
electricity didn't work in kitchen area, patio windoe would.t lock therefore no security, patio window blinds totally broken therefore no privacy. shower no use if you are 6 foot tall
charming, eccentric, quirky place with a warm, lovely welcome from the relaxed, unstuffy staff led by the delightful owner and her brother. A flight of whimsy and completely uncorporate.
The room we stayed in had wonderful pieces antique of furniture, which made you feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful, pre warned of a function that would create noise. Well postioned to get to the town centre and docks.
Woke up to workman working away but that is no fault of the hotel.
The staff were delightful, the building is very attractive and atmospheric and we really enjoyed the artworks displayed. The breakfasts were also very good.
The plumbing and some other fixtures need urgent attention
Staff very friendly and welcoming . the room was individually decorated and furnished .The food was excellant and all breakfasts were individually cooked to your liking. The dining room was impressive as was the bar area.
The staff were all very nice from start to finish. Now my favourite hotel in Liverpool.
The lift is a bit scary!
Location & value for money
Very poor signage of name
The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The lift was scary!
It is in a central location and the staff were friendly.
Our room was cold when we arrived - the lift button to second floor was broken - shower was difficult to turn off - loo noisy - no campari in the bar!
Excellent friendly staff. Lovely boutique feel to the rooms and friendly ambiance.
The breakfast resembled a cafe fry up and it was £12. The food in general is not up to standard. The tv in my room was faulty. A little too cold in the rooms for my liking.
THe unique rooms, fantastic charcator of the building.
Was only staying one night for the Liverpool Vs Swansea game so perfect, classy place to stay : ) !!! Will go back for sure.
We hadden een kamer geboekt en kregen een fantastisch appartement in een nabijgelegen flat. Het restaurant annex ontbijtruimte is prachtig. Prima ligging in het zakengedeelte van Liverpool maar op een paar minuten lopen van de stad. Vriendelijk personeel. Prima ontbijt.
