Perfect for a Gathering
The hotel was a hidden gem, really stunning! ! I couldn't believe how accommodating the staff were, particularly the bar staff who kept the drinks flowing all night! I was impressed when the manager, Sue, helped with every detail for our event, like table settings and even decorations. Very professional.
It wasn't inexpensive, but worth it considering the service and experience.

The splendid architecture and high ceilings create a stunning atmosphere, while the room featured unique artwork that enhanced the experience. The traditional local products served at breakfast were refreshing, but the service felt disorganized, as we had to wait too long for our food. The bedrooms, however, are desperately in need of updating to match the beautifully preserved public areas. Despite the friendly staff, the overall experience did not justify the price paid for the stay.

stayed here for 3 nights and it was such a beautiful building with amazing history. loved the period features like the wooden bed n the claw foot bath tub. the high ceiling rooms made it feel so spacious. the staff were super friendly n treated us like royalty. overall, it felt like home away from home.
the room needed some minor repairs like a door handle that was loose n the tv didn't work well. parking was pretty pricey nearby, so look for cheaper options.
